How to Stop Apple Watch from Showing Now Playing

If you don't want Now Playing to launch every time you start playing audio on your iPhone, you can change a certain Apple Watch Now Playing setting to keep it from happening.   1. On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app. Alternatively, you can open the Watch app on your iPhone and follow the same steps below.


     
  2. Scroll down and tap on Display & Brightness.


     
  3. Scroll down and toggle off Auto-Launch Audio Apps.


     
  4. When the toggle is gray, the setting is disabled.
