When Apple announced the iPhone X, many had sticker shock over the $1,000 price tag. Not only is this the most expensive iPhone that Apple has ever created, but it’s also one of six different iPhones the company now sells. Building such a large (some would argue fragmented) product line is one of the biggest departures in strategy Tim Cook has taken from his predecessor. Under Cook, Apple has dabbled in budget markets by offering the cheaper iPhone 5c and SE. However, these releases were more consistent with Apple’s image as being a luxury brand for the masses; with the iPhone X, Apple is becoming a luxury brand for the rich.

This article goes over what each Apple Watch cellular plan costs, updated for the Apple Watch 6 and SE. Like the Series 5, the Apple Watch Series 6 has a cellular model that allows you to place calls, check email, and stream music without your iPhone. You will, of course, still have to own an iPhone and pay for an iPhone cellular plan. But owning the cellular Apple Watch means you’ll also need to add the cost of an Apple Watch data plan to your current bill. When drying to decide which is the best Apple watch data plan for you, you'll want to know all your options. Here’s how much an Apple Watch cellular plan for the Series 4, 5, 6, and SE will cost you on AT&T, Appalachian, C Spire, Verizon Wireless, Sprint Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Xfinity, and US Cellular, which are the only carriers currently supported for Apple Watch in the United States.

I grew up in one of the most beautiful places on the entire planet. No kidding. People would come from all over the world to visit our exquisite crystal blue waters and our lush tropical islands. Now however, everything has changed. In a matter of hours the Virgin Islands (the British Virgin Islands in particular) were decimated by the most powerful Atlantic hurricane ever recorded. Now the people in the islands are dealing with the devastation and many residents have gone from living an idealistic island life to living like refugees.

In the 67th episode of the iPhone Life Podcast, the team shares their most loved and hated features of iOS 11 (spoiler: Donna's a big fan of Drag and Drop and Sarah loves lane guidance in Apple Maps). “What is this stupid feature?” “There are people starving around the world and they are making little animated faces?” “What a waste of time!” These are just a small sampling of the comments I heard while the new Animojis were demoed at Apple's fall iPhone announcement. Some people may agree with that, and it may look like a silly or frivolous little feature, but I think it’s an impressive demonstration of the progress technology, as well as an exciting new beginning of a whole new range of creative expression and art that we are only beginning to see.
We’ve all anticipated wireless charging on the iPhone for many years. And to our surprise, Apple is using the standard Qi wireless charging system, which means any current wireless charging stations you own will work with the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. Next year, Apple will release its own wireless charging station for the iPhone, called the AirPower. But there are a lot of questions to answer. First of all, how does wireless charging work? Most importantly, which devices will be able to charge on the AirPower? And lastly, when does Apple’s wireless charging pad come out and how much is it going to cost. We’ve got all of the latest details below.

Under Tim Cook’s leadership, Apple has maintained a deep sense of reverence for its late CEO Steve Jobs. Yet never has an Apple event paid as much tribute to Jobs as during this fall’s tenth-anniversary iPhone release, which took place a decade after Jobs revealed the original “one more thing.” The event took place in the Steve Jobs Theater located in the heart of Apple Park, the company’s new Cupertino, California-based campus whose design Jobs masterminded during the last years of his life. As Cook opened the fall keynote, he showed uncharacteristic emotion as he said, “Steve’s spirit and timeless philosophy on life will always be the DNA of Apple.”
