How to Add and Remove Apps from Glances on Your Apple Watch

* This post is part of iPhone Life's Tip of the Day newsletter. . *

Say goodbye to Glances on Apple Watch. With WatchOS 3, the Apple Watch has a customizable dock that allows you to quickly jump into apps you often use. The dock on the Apple Watch is opened by tapping the side button, which used to contain the circle of friends in previous Apple Watch operating systems. The Dock is comparable to Glances from older operating systems for Apple Watch, but now works a bit more like the app switcher on the iPhone. Here’s how to add and remove apps from Dock on Apple Watch with Watch OS 3.

To add and remove apps from Dock on Apple Watch:

  • Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

  • Select My Watch at the bottom of the screen.

  • Tap Dock.

  • The top list you'll see in Dock shows all the apps present in your Dock and in the order you'll see them. The bottom list shows all the apps not included.

  • Tap Edit in the top right corner.

  • To remove an app from Dock, tap the red circle to the left of an app. Then tap Remove.

  • To add an app to Dock, tap the green circle to the left of an app.

  • To reorder the apps in your Dock, place your finger on the three horizontal bars to the left of an app and drag it to its desired location.

Now you'll only see apps in Dock that you want and in the order you want them!
