Hello, Reader! It's August again. Still human.

And this time, I'm happy to be so! I just got back from a wonderful trip to Yellowstone, and there's nothing quite like untouched wilderness to remind you of the smallness of all intelligence, artificial or otherwise. And then, you touch that wilderness, and you get poison ivy, and you are grateful to return to your world of screens and AI, which helpfully tells you NOT to bathe in tomato juice to resolve the itching (OK, I'm joking about that part—I bathed in the tomato juice, anyway).

Inspired by my recent travels, we're going around the world with AI! We'll talk about how to plan your dream vacation with AI, and then, in a new reader stories section, we'll hear about how AI also has the potential to really screw that vacation up. We'll also have a tip for a new tool you can use to document your travels! All that and more cool things to do with AI and the most relevant AI stories from around the web coming right up in this edition of AI for Humans.

Cheers!

Spammers Have Your Number. Take It Back.

Right now, hundreds of websites you've never visited are listing your name, home address, phone number, and even details about your family members. These data brokers profit by selling your information to the telemarketers and spammers who won't stop calling you.

There's no way to stop spam entirely, but Incogni can help reduce the constant ringing. Instead of hunting down each site yourself, Incogni does the work for you—contacting data brokers directly and getting your information off their list. It's automatic, ongoing, and surprisingly effective. Sign up today and use code IPHONELIFE at checkout to save 55%.
