Online Course Instructor

Position Overiew:

We are looking for an online course intructor to join the iPhone Life team. Instructors will teach live online classes to boomers and seniors on topics related to Apple products and AI. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, comfortable teaching in front of large audiences (often 5,000+ students), tech savvy, and familiar with Apple products and AI. This is a fully remote, full-time salaried (32 hours per week) position with benefits. 

Here is an example of an online class you will be creating

Responsibilities:

  • Teach live, one-hour classes using an online streaming service

  • Create course outlines, curriculum, PowerPoint presentations, and related marketing material

  • Demonstrate Apple features in a simple, step-by-step manner

  • Answer student questions in hour-long live Q&A sessions

  • Collaborate with our team to improve classes and student experience

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills—especially the ability to explain tech in simple layman's terms

  • Comfortable teaching in a live class enviroment in front of 5,000+ students

  • Strong understanding of Apple products, iOS, and common Apple features

  • Friendly, patient, and able to create a positive learning environment

  • Comfort with online tools including Zoom, Powerpoint, and Email Service Providers

  • Ability to navigate the changing AI landscape

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as an educator or a teacher

  • Apple Enthusiast
