How do I change the point of focus in Camera?

iPhone 4

AutoFocusThe iPhone 4 has a built-in autofocus feature that automatically centers on an object or person in a photo. You can make the Camera focus on anything you see on the screen by following these steps:

  1. Open the Camera app to display the image your camera is "seeing." The Camera interface displays a thin rectangle over the portion of the image that it is focused on (roughly in the center of the screen).
  2. Tap on the area of the image you want the camera to focus on. The thin rectangle moves to the selected area, and the iPhone adjusts to make it the center of focus.

You can tap on the Camera screen to focus on any part of the image.
