How to Set Your iPhone on Vibrate for Calls & Texts

How to Make Your iPhone Vibrate for Incoming Calls & Texts

For a long time, users would set their iPhone to vibrate by finding Vibrate in Settings, but Apple now calls it Haptics, which can be confusing if you're looking to make the iPhone vibrate. You can change vibration settings under Haptics in Settings. Here's how to put your phone on vibrate mode via the Settings app.

  1. Tap the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap Sounds & Haptics.

  3. Tap Haptics.

  4. From here, you can select haptics to Always Play anytime your iPhone receives an alert.
