Last week, I asked y’all for your thoughts on the iPhone Fold and its rumored price tag. You responded loud and clear: $2000 is too much for an iPhone! While I’m inclined to agree, I wanted to reassure you: First of all, that price is still just a rumor. Secondly, come September, your only choices won’t be $2000+ for an iPhone Fold or no new iPhone at all. Apple will almost certainly still be releasing other models, like the usual base model and the Pro and Pro Max models. Maybe that was Apple’s plan all along? To introduce a crazy-expensive new iPhone so that the $1000 price tag for the iPhone Pro seems like a deal?
