The excitement of the holidays has wound down, and as we dust off the crumbs of our aunties’ fruitcakes and shredded tissue paper, we have a whole new year to look forward to. Here’s what the iPhone Life team is doing to make 2026 our best year yet:

I’m getting serious about my health this year, and one of the ways I’m doing that is through focusing on nutrition. I’m using the app Cronometer to help me track. I find the layout intuitive, and I like seeing the bars fill up as I eat the nutrition I should be consuming in a day. —Amy Spitzfaden-Both, Managing Editor

I’m working on my self-talk and lowering my stress in the new year. I found an app called Liven that gives me daily learning and small actions I can take based on cognitive behavioral therapy to lower my cortisol. —Donna Schill, Editor-in-Chief

As for me, I want to get more out of my reading, so I’ve started using Storygraph to track the books I’ve read, share and read reviews, and get recommendations for my next read. If you’re looking for an alternative to Amazon-owned Goodreads, Storygraph is a great option!
