The Photos app on your iPhone allows you to easily crop, resize, and rotate images. If you take a portrait shot but decide you want it to be landscape (or vice versa), use this tip to rotate the photo. We'll cover how to rotate pictures using the Photos app on iPhone.

How to Rotate a Picture on iPhone Photos App

  1. Open the Photos app.


     
  2. Select the image or video you want to rotate.
  3. Tap Edit.


     
  4. Tap the Rotate-Crop icon.

  5. Tap the Rotate icon as many times as needed to get your photo or video to display correctly.

  6. Tap Done.

That's all there is to it! Now you can easily rotate any of your photos to get that perfectly displayed action shot or group photo.
