Low battery on my iPhone always makes me anxious, which is why I love Low Power Mode. When you manually turn on this setting, you can extend your battery life up to three hours, according to Apple. We'll show you how to enable Low Power Mode and explain which features will be paused until your iPhone is charged again.

- Open Settings.
- Tap Battery.
- Toggle on Low Power Mode.
- Tap Continue.
Now your iPhone will go into Low Power Mode and save you some battery life, so you can breathe a little easier until you can get home to your charger. When enabled, the battery icon at the top of your phone will appear yellow, and features like mail fetch, background app refresh, automatic downloads, and some visual effects will be reduced or disabled until Low Power Mode is turned off.
