How to Print from Mac

The following steps demonstrate how to print from your Apple Notes app. However, it is important to keep in mind that specific print settings and options will differ slightly between apps and which printer you use.   1. Open the Notes app.

    Open the Notes app.
  2. Select the note (or other file, if you're printing from a different application) you'd like to print.

  3. Click File.

    Click on File.
  4. Click Print.

    Click Print.
  5. Alternatively, you can use the Print keyboard shortcut by pressing Command + P

  6. Click the Printer dropdown menu to select your printer.

  7. If your printer is not already added, you’ll need to click Add Printer before you can select your printer from the menu.

  8. Select your printer from the list of connected printers and click Add.

  9. Select how many copies you want to print. You can either type a number in the text field or click the up and down arrows on the side.

  10. Select the Two-Sided checkbox if you want to print on both sides of the paper, or leave it unchecked if you want to print on one side of each piece of paper.

  11. If you want to print only a certain page range, enter the start and end pages of the section you want to print; otherwise you can select All to print the whole document.

  12. Once you're satisfied with your print settings, click Print.

    When you’re happy with your option choices, click Print.

Now your note should print out. Some settings, like the Two-Sided checkbox, may be absent or different depending on whick type of printer you’re using. But for the most part, these steps will apply across different printers and apps. Happy printing!
