  1. Open the Messages app.


     
  2. Tap the conversation that contains the message you want to remove.


     
  3. Long press the individual text message you want to delete.
  4. Tap More in the menu that pops up.


     
  5. Select any individual messages you want to delete (they’re indicated with a white check mark in a blue circle when selected).
  6. Tap the trash icon in the bottom-left corner.


     
  7. Tap Delete Message to confirm.
