If you want to learn how to post a Live Photo on Instagram, it's a bit of a different process. Here's how to post Live Photos on Instagram: 

  1. Open the Instagram app.

    Open Instagram
  2. Tap the Plus sign.

  3. Tap Story.

  4. Tap Select.

  5. Tap a photo that you've turned into a Bounce or Loop GIF; this will be indicated by a Boomerang icon (infinity symbol).

  6. Tap the forward arrow.

  8. Tap Done, tap the forward arrow one more time, then tap Share.
