How to Disconnect Your iPhone from a Bluetooth Device
Before iOS 9, sharing Bluetooth devices with more than one iPhone was a hassle. You had to either disable Bluetooth on your device or select Forget this Device in settings; both options were roundabout ways to switch the connected iPhone for another. Now, there's a simple way to temporarily disconnect your iPhone from a Bluetooth device.

Open Settings. Select Bluetooth.

Find the device name you want to disconnect from. Tap the 'i' for specific information.

The first option is Disconnect. Tap once.

When you return to the Bluetooth menu, your device will still be on the list but will state, "Not Connected". Tap the device name to reconnect.
