When you want to get organized, color coding is a great way to get started. The iPhone’s calendar settings allow you to assign colors to your different calendars to more easily keep track of your upcoming appointments.   1. Open the Calendar app.

    Open the Calendar app.
  2. Tap Calendars.

    Tap Calendars.
  3. Tap the info icon next to a calendar (it looks like an "i" inside a circle).

Now you can go through your work, Google, or family calendars and set a color that fits each one. Now, when you look at your calendar app, you can see which event belongs to which calendar with ease.
