Kickstarter: Personalize Your Apple Watch Band with iPops

Personalize Your Apple Watch Band with iPops

Apple has released a plethora of Apple Watch bands to let users give their Apple Watch a personal touch, but a low-cost option dubbed iPops goes even further. You insert an iPop into one of the holes in your Apple Watch band and have your own Pandora-style bracelet that tells a story. iPops are like emojis that you wear.

iPops is offering assorted charms for as little as $4 on its Kickstarter page, with options like family members' birthstones, the American flag, a motorcycle, the Eiffel Tower, sports equipment, pets, a pink ribbon, an arrow, a cross, and more. There are also letters and numbers as well.  In fact, there are over 160 options on MyiPops.com.

The iPops should fit on a FitBit band as well, or even traditional watch bands, but clearly the target market is the Apple Watch owner, particularly those with the Sport Apple Watch Band. It's a clever "no-tech" way to make a high tech product even more personal. And they were included in Oscar goodie bags, so if you wear them, you're in good company.
