How to Delete Apps on Apple TV

How to Delete Apps on Apple TV from the Home Screen

Probably the simplest way to delete an app on Apple TV is to do it from the Home screen:

  1. Go to your Home screen.
  2. Highlight the app you'd like to delete.

    Select app
  3. Press and hold your Apple TV remote's touchpad until the app icon begins to shake.

  4. When the on-screen prompt comes up, press Play/Pause on your remote to open options.

  5. Select Delete.

How to Uninstall Apps on Apple TV from Settings

  1. Go to Settings.

    Go to Settings
  2. Click General.

    Click General
  3. Find Manage Storage.

    Click Manage Storage
  4. Scroll to the app you'd like to delete and click on the trash icon to delete it.

  5. Confirm that you'd like to delete the app.
