4 Apps for Buying & Sending Galentine’s Gifts

The day before Valentine’s, February 13, is the beloved holiday started by Parks & Recreation to celebrate our best women friends. If you live in the same place as your best girlfriends, bring everybody together for brunch or a movie. Galentine’s is all about appreciating your closest friends. If you and your best friends are spread across the country, here’s five apps to make sending gifts easy for this unofficial but glorious holiday.

Sesame Gifts

At the top of my list is Sesame Gifts. This app is designed for sending gift packages to other people and the options are vast. From packages for the chocolate lover in your life, to relaxation super kits, there’s something for any one of your best friends here.

Gyft

Not sure what to buy your friend? Send them a digital gift card instead! You can purchase gift cards from hundreds of different retailers and the app is compatible with Passes in Wallet. If you plan to use the app to send digital gift cards a lot, you’ll rack up reward points towards future purchases.

Etsy

Etsy is a great place to get vintage or handmade items from individuals. On Etsy you’ll find artists and craftsmen, designers, jewelers, and more. The possibilities are endless and the price ranges vary greatly depending on what you’re looking for. For completely unique, one-of-a-kind gifts, definitely go looking on Etsy.

Wanelo Shopping

Wanelo is short for Want, Need, Love. The app has an enormous array of items, usually targeted for women in their 20s and 30s. The app learns your preferences the more items you save, but it’s also a great way to find random, unique items for your gal pal.
