With iOS 17, not only can you make a Custom Photo Sticker and send it via Messages or another texting app to your friends and family, but you can also add those stickers to images and documents using Apple's built-in Markup feature. This tip works on iPhones running iOS 17 or later. Find out how to update to iOS 17.
Be aware that this is a brand-new feature, and the kinks are still being worked out. For example, when testing this tip, the holographic and puffy stickers worked as expected, but animated Live Photo GIF stickers did not.

- On your device, open the Photos app.

- Select a photo you'd like to add the sticker to and tap Edit.

- Tap the pen in a circle. This is the Markup button.

- Tap the plus icon.

- Tap Add Sticker.

- Select a sticker.

- Then, you can move the sticker around on the photo until you like its placement. Tap the three dots in a circle for more options.

- From here, you can cut, paste, duplicate, or delete your sticker from the image.

- Tap Done when you're finished.
