Hey Sarah,

I have an archive of over 7,000 photos extending back to my iPhone 5 days. How do I delete them now that I have downloaded them from my iPhone 7 onto external storage?

Sincerely,

Delete This

Dear Delete,

Considering how many photos you have, the best option may be using your PC or Mac to delete the photos from your iPhone.

If you have a Mac, open Photos, type 'command a' to select all the photos, press the delete key, and then confirm that you want to delete the photos from all your devices.

If you have a PC, the process is similar, but you'll have to plug your iPhone into your PC via the Lightning cable and then confirm the computer's access to your iPhone. Next, open the Photos folder in Windows, and type 'ctrl a' to select all and then type 'shift delete' to delete all the photos.
