If you follow my articles, then you already know I am a big fan of House of Marley. Aside from the fact that House of Marley is spearheaded by Rohan Marley, son of one of the most influential artist of all time, Bob Marley, House of Marley is also a brand and company that is so enthusiastically focused on the quality and integrity of their product that it was an entirely refreshing experience for me to be able to visit with them at CES 2013 today here in Las Vegas.

My visit to the House of Marley station today at CES was an absolute joy. The House of Marley staff was both completely welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about their products and also, so enthusiastic about the latest additions to an already amazing line of gear. Theirs has been one of the most enjoyable booths I’ve had the pleasure of visiting at this year’s CES.

If you aren't already familiar with House of Marley products, let me give you a brief run down: inspired by the message of “one love” espoused by music superstar Bob Marley, House of Marley has become one of the leading companies trailblazing the path of high-quality, eco-friendly gear. And when I say “eco-friendly”, I don't just mean they give 1% of their profits to eco-friendly charities, but rather, from the ground up, House of Marley is built on principles of sustainability and environmentally conscientious business practices.

But that's not all! House of Marley is a brand that reflects its rootsy origins, with gear that is decked out in elegant natural woods and Marley’s own proprietary fabric blend that’s constituted of cotton, hemp and recycled plastic bottles. In fact, during my visit, the good folk from House of Marley were able to tell me in detail; exactly how many recycled plastic bottles went into each piece of House of Marley gear.

All that’s well and good, but I have hardly even mentioned the outstanding quality of House of Marley gear! Maybe it’s par for the course when a high profile family with strong musical roots creates a product, but the sound quality of House of Marley products is truly exceptional, fit for the most discerning of audiophiles. I was able to chat with several of the product designers at House of Marley and obviously their enthusiasm for their products was contagious, and the time and effort they invested into the audio gear they have created was clearly evident!

While the House of Marley line of iOS compatible gear is extensive (see HERE for their full catalog of products currently available) the latest additions to their line up that are being unveiled here at CES 2013 takes it all to the next level and solidifies House of Marley as one of the premier name brands in not just the iOS ecosystem, but in the arena of top caliber audio equipment.

This year at CES House of Marley is debuting some amazing new gear; some of my favorites include the One Foundation sound system, the Liberate headphones and the Legend earphones.

The One Foundation stereo exemplifies Apple’s own approach of simplicity and elegance, with a solid, inch thick, wooden front panel and only one control dial. The natural resonant qualities of wood give this stellar piece of audio equipment a flavor that is as smooth as silk, as clear as sunshine and as loud as thunder.

The Legend headphones - seen in the photo above being held by Mr. Marley - are any audiophile’s delight. Their designer described these in-ear headphones to me in great detail and to say they are in the class of the best earphones on the market is not an exaggeration. The high-end technology brought to bear on these earphones is yet another example of the minute attention to every detail that makes House of Marley one of my favorite iOS-friendly brands in the world.

The sound delivered by the Legend earphones is comparable to some of the best over-the ear, noise-cancelling headphones you will find anywhere. The clarity and richness they provide has to be heard to be believed. I was blown away! And don't let the size fool you, as these little earphones are equipped with some of the highest quality, precision crafted drivers available.

Finally, what was described to me as their flagship headphones, we have the Liberate, which are set to really dominate the market with a sweet combination of affordability, audio excellence and durability. These headphones provide a crisp and crystal clear sound experience and come in a wide variety of styles to fit every taste.

Look for all of these items to hit the market very soon. I'll continue to keep you posted as to exactly when they do become available as well as to their final price points when they make their way into stores and the online House of Marley Catalog.
