Make calls fast from Favorites list


The iPhone’s “Favorites” (speed dial) feature lists your most important or frequently called phone numbers. To add a number to Favorites, follow these steps:

1. From Contacts:
   
   1. Open the individual contact and tap on the “Add to Favorites” button at the bottom of the screen. (Fig. 1)

2. From Recents list:
   
   1. Tap the “DetailDisclosure” icon (white arrow in a blue circle) next to the desired caller, then tap on the “Add to Favorites” button. (Fig. 2)

   2. To place a call quickly, double tap on the Home button to go the Favorites list, select a name/phone number, and hit the Call button. (First change setting: Settings>General>Home Button, Fig. 14, p.29)
