I'm not a big fan of working out. One thing that can motivate me though, is having proof of how hard I've exercised.
That's why I love Scosche's RHYTHM ($79.99). It's a Bluetooth armband heart rate monitor for women that attaches to your forearm. I wore it during a workout and hardly noticed it was there.
Download the Scosche RHYTHM app (free) to manage pulse rate, calories burned, distance, speed, and pace from your workout. Your workouts can also be displayed through the RHYTHM Web Dashboard on any desktop or laptop.
The RHYTHM lets you control any music you are playing on your device with the integrated forward/back buttons and volume adjustment. Battery life is about six hours and it takes about two hours to charge.
The app lets you customize the home screen stats to meet your needs. Set a goal for weight loss, calories burned, or performance. You can also review distance and route in map view while retracing your workout.
Compare training sessions with workout stats and overall progress with the app's workout calendar. Your workout results can also be shared via Facebook or Twitter.
If you're looking for a comfortable heart rate monitor to track your workouts, be sure to check out the RHYTHM.
And, don't forget that during the month of October, all proceeds raised on Scosche.com will go towards the fight against breast cancer.
