I've come across many a good Bluetooth speaker in my time and throughout the years have heard some amazing sound come out of very small packages. Tech-savvy adventurers like myself have many options of great Bluetooth speakers. And after spending some time with HMDX's Jam XT ($69.99), I have a new favorite.
The Jam XT is the successor to the original Jam Bluetooth speaker, the first in a line of popular Bluetooth portable speakers known for packing a punch. With the new Jam XT, we now have an adventure-ready, heavy-duty version of this award-winning speaker.
When Square was first released, it garnered a lot of buzz: it was an extraordinary combination of practicality, cool, and cost-effectiveness. You simply plugged a small square gizmo, which was free, into your iPhone, and used it to swipe credit cards. The best part was that unlike other credit card processing systems, there was no monthly fee. You simply paid 2.75 percent of each transaction, with no other fees. This low cost convenience was ideal for small businesses, and needless to say, Square was widely adopted.
I've written about Sculpteo before, which lets you order custom 3D printed cases and accessories from its app. But its latest effort takes its capabilities a step further, which lets you create virtual works of art and then order real-life equivalents!
The app, Let's Create! Pottery HD ($4.99) is a partnership of Sculpteo with Infinite Dreams, letting you create artwork and generate it in 3D.

After seeing A Knight's Tale the movie, I seriously wanted to get in a time machine and go back to the Middle Ages (though I'd likely end up a lowly field peasant instead of a knight)! It would be awesome to see knights with swords clashing, gleaming armor, damsels in distress and well... jousting! Jousting has to be the coolest sport ever, am I right? Although there had been rumors of a June announcement and July launch of the next iPhone, it increasingly seems likely it will arrive in September. And one of the more interesting details to emerge in recent days is that it may have a sapphire crystal home button. It won't be a physical button, as in current iPhones, but will be capacitive touch just like the display.
Apple has more than one reason to cheer. Since the launch of the iPhone, the wind has been blowing in favor of Apple. The combination of the iPhone's quality and Apple's smart marketing campaigns has helped Apple create an unbeatable brand image. This has yielded enormous profits, and Apple has accumulated a huge pile of cash. And Apple continues to do well in the most lucrative markets, while Android is a big success only in emerging markets. Americans love Apple and it still has a stranglehold on the U.S. Smartphone market. And it is not just smartphone users who love Apple devices, even developers enjoy creating apps for the iPhone.
As you may recall, T-Mobile began offering the iPhone 5 in April, and unlike other carriers, your phone comes without a contract. You pay $99 down and $20 per month for two years. And according to AppleInsider (via TmoNews), this weekend T-Mobile is offering a special deal for Mother's Day: trade in your old iPhone 4 or 4S, and T-Mobile will give you the iPhone 5 for $0 down. In order to an acceptable trade-in, your old phone must be in working order: name, be able to be turned out, not have a cracked screen, and not have any physical or water damage.
In iView—my inside, back-cover column in iPhone Life magazine—I discuss David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” organizational and time management scheme in the July/August 2013 issue. In the article, I briefly summarize Allen’s thinking and suggest iPhone, iPad, Mac, and PC software to best implement it. Since writing the article, I’ve settled on Evernote (free), and am quite pleased with it.

The stylish Blue Tour 6U Bluetooth speaker ($48.41 on Amazon) from Technical Pro is a very affordable and great-sounding speaker. Its simple design and control layout is ideal for the broadcasting of whatever entertainment your iDevice can provide. Some Bluetooth speakers have a dearth of controls and are therefore more suited to the technically savvy user who can quickly adapt to motion sensors or nondescript spinning dials. Others have an abundance of switches, buttons, and ports, which again, may be better suited to a more technically savvy user. The Blue Tour Bluetooth speaker however, strikes an optimal balance between simplicity of design, ease of use, and quality of sound. The Blue Tour is a cool-looking little device! It reminds me of a stereotypical UFO, with its oval-sphere design. It is a fine work of understated design and it would look great on most shelves, desks, countertops etc.

Here are a couple of Articles that showcase what we have to offer. For eaxample, iPhone 4S by Alex Cequea (iPhone Life Magazine Editor in Chief).
In that article, Alex says that the iPhone 4S has the exact same physical form factor as the iPhone 4. However, the insides are a whole different story, and Apple tried to make that very clear. The most notable improvements are the 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, the A5 dual-core processor (same as the iPad 2), and an improved battery life (8 hours of 3G talk time, 200 hours of standby). As far as the capabilities, the new Siri Assistant feature was the highlight of the show. The Siri Assistant recognizes natural language and can answer questions such as, "What's the temperature out today?" Combined with the phone's GPS, you can say something like, "Remind me to call my wife when I get to work." The Assistant will not only know who your "wife" is, it'll also know where "work" is and pop up a reminder to "call Marcy" when you get there."
