The Cdock is an elegant dock that would make Steve Jobs proud!

image

Steve Jobs was a fan of Dieter Rams of Braun fame.  So is Jonathan Ive, head of Apple's Design team.  I think they would both be proud of the Cdock, which encloses the beloved iPhone 4 but doesn't obstruct the phone's design.  Instead, the Cdock complements the iPhone 4, with several different design options, specifically black, white, brushed aluminum (or as Ive would say "Aluminium") or walnut.  Any of these would look right at home in the Apple store.  Indeed it makes decided hard.

One thing that all photographers have to do is to obtain and store model releases. Easy Release makes that chore a easier.

Easy Release was designed by a professional photographer to replace paper model releases. It comes with pre-bundled, industry-standard model and property releases in 13 languages. The legal text is customizable so you can either use it “as is” or customize it to your own needs. (Note: The app is approved for use by Getty Images.)

Rumor: iPhone 5 with 4-inch screen coming next June

A post on iLounge says that their most reliable source for inside information is saying that the iPhone 5 will be coming next June and will have a 4-inch screen. You can read more on iPhone Savior. The post says that the new iteration will no longer have glass on the back, probably replacing it with aluminum. The larger screen will increase the length of the phone by 8mm.

Gogo Sushi Review: Keeping it Fresh

Ozgnahc, Inc. brings us a game with a presently unwieldy title in the App Store: Gogo Sushi Tap Tap Tycoon Fun Game App of Speedy Touch. We’ll be referring to it as Gogo Sushi for short.

Looking for Christmas Gifts? Check out Woogie 2 - the first huggable iPhone Case!

Imagine this: You’re sitting in the doctor’s office waiting and waiting and waiting. Your three-year-old is beginning to eat the plants, dig in the trashcan, or climb on the receptionist’s desk. You have nothing but your iPhone with which to entertain them. Do you let them use your phone?

Normally, the answer is no. It’s much too expensive and delicate to let a small child play with.

iPhone Life Weekly Weekend Giveaways! 11/18

Every weekend we will be raffling off tons of great apps and accessories for FREE. Here's how it works:

The best iCade / iControlPad games Part I

image
I've always liked playing on my mobile devices, even back in the Pocket PC / Windows Mobile / Palm OS days. They revitalize me quite a lot, particularly after a hard, exhausting day.

Playing without physical controls (buttons), only using the touchscreen, is pretty hard. This includes a lot of game types, particularly ones where quick direction changes are needed and / or you can't make the smallest mistake and must be absolutely sure even the smallest movements on the directional pads (D-pad for short) is registered. In games like these, physical D-pad / button feedback is of extreme importance.

Everything iPhone - Apps, Accessories, Reviews, Wallpapers etc | iPhone Life Magazine

The iPhone has become a benchmark for all other smartphones to compete with.  Reviews on the cases, accessories, apps, wallpapers and more are located below.  Here are a couple of Articles that showcase what we have to offer.  For eaxample, iPhone 4S by Alex Cequea (iPhone Life Magazine Editor in Chief).

In that article, Alex says that the iPhone 4S has the exact same physical form factor as the iPhone 4. However, the insides are a whole different story, and Apple tried to make that very clear. The most notable improvements are the 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, the A5 dual-core processor (same as the iPad 2), and an improved battery life (8 hours of 3G talk time, 200 hours of standby). As far as the capabilities, the new Siri Assistant feature was the highlight of the show. The Siri Assistant recognizes natural language and can answer questions such as, "What's the temperature out today?" Combined with the phone's GPS, you can say something like, "Remind me to call my wife when I get to work." The Assistant will not only know who your "wife" is, it'll also know where "work" is and pop up a reminder to "call Marcy" when you get there."

Here's another great article, The Best iPhone 4 Cases. This article goes on to explain that like its iPhone predecessors, cases have become one of the most popular ways to accessorize your cell phone. Most cell phone consumers buy a case bundled with their new phone to protect it from day one. And who can blame them? Mobile devices have become hugely valuable and expensive items; you want to protect them the best way you can. There are literally hundreds of cases on the market. Let's examine the different options available on the market to help you choose the one that's right for you.

What to know how to create your own app?  "The first step in creating an app is to understand what you want to create and how you will measure its success. Make sure the idea is well vetted and there is a solid business case behind it. There are roughly 600 new apps submitted to Apple each day—what is going to differentiate your app from the thousands that are already available and being launched each week? Here are some questions you’ll want to ask when getting your app idea..."
