If you're in a position to choose a carrier for your iPhone and are wondering which is the best in terms of data performance, AppleInsider has the answer. They've tested the throughput of each of the carriers to see which one performs the best. The conclusion is no suprise: AT&T has the best speed and Verizon is more widely available. And Sprint?
What I played this week was mostly a festival of EA 99 cent titles (Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Mirror's Edge, and Battleship) that cost me too many hours of distraction when I should have been doing more productive things. I also found an app finder app called AppsCube Explorer that allows you to browse apps through a 3D interface. It helped me waste yet even more time by enhancing the navigation required to find more freebies--so I could waste even more time--if that makes sense. Select your next virtual iTunes gem in a slick 3-D gamelike interface!
A few weeks ago, I had the honor of meeting Jon Brandmeier. We discussed the passing of Steve Jobs and also the iPhone 4S. He's a great guy who has had many great accomplishments. Brandmeier currently has his own show that he hosts at NBC Chicago. What a way to have your first interview. He has a great show covering many topics. Check out the short clip of my interview with Brandmeier. I was so nervous, I thought I was going to fall out of my chair.

Man the Apps store is like going down the rabbit hole. Every time I open iTunes or go there on the iPad/Pod, I end up downloading 3 or 4 apps and ebooks I didn't know I needed (most freebies). It can trigger more impulse-shopping than a trip to Staples or Home Depot. Anyway, today EA has SHIFT 2 Unleashed up there for free, and I found that out using another freebie app called AppsCube Explorer (3-D app explorer which is cool all by itself), which I'll swing back and post up more info on in my next "What I Played" edition.
LifeProof takes advantage of all the iOS 5 features the iPhone 4S offers. This case will protect your iphone from anything and everything the environment can throw at it. If you want to read my full review on the LifeProof click here. This is an awesome case for many reasons. We are approaching winter weather. Protect your iPhone 4S from the snow and still have access to all the great iOS 5 features such as Siri and much more.
The iPhone has become a benchmark for all other smartphones to compete with. Reviews on the cases, accessories, apps, wallpapers and more are located below. Here are a couple of Articles that showcase what we have to offer. For eaxample, iPhone 4S by Alex Cequea (iPhone Life Magazine Editor in Chief).
In that article, Alex says that the iPhone 4S has the exact same physical form factor as the iPhone 4. However, the insides are a whole different story, and Apple tried to make that very clear. The most notable improvements are the 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, the A5 dual-core processor (same as the iPad 2), and an improved battery life (8 hours of 3G talk time, 200 hours of standby). As far as the capabilities, the new Siri Assistant feature was the highlight of the show. The Siri Assistant recognizes natural language and can answer questions such as, "What's the temperature out today?" Combined with the phone's GPS, you can say something like, "Remind me to call my wife when I get to work." The Assistant will not only know who your "wife" is, it'll also know where "work" is and pop up a reminder to "call Marcy" when you get there."
Here's another great article, The Best iPhone 4 Cases. Mobile devices have become hugely valuable and expensive items; you want to protect them the best way you can. There are literally hundreds of cases on the market. Let's examine the different options available on the market to help you choose the one that's right for you.
