Monster 24K Headphones Bring a Head Full of Bling

image

If you are one of the elite few to score a gold Apple Watch, or if you gravitate towards the gold iPhones or iPads, then the Monster 24K headphones ($299.95) may be the perfect accessory to compliment your sense of style. Monster's 24K headphones are a sleek synthesis of a high performance, self-contained sound system, with decadent elegance and posh style. With their extremely flashy look, the 24K may not be for everyone, but for those looking to make a Kardashian-esque fashion statement with their headphones, these are a classy alternative.

Next iPhone Camera to Offer Bigger Resolution by Using Smaller Pixels

image

As many advancements as Apple has brought out recently, the camera has remained pretty stagnant. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus offer the same 8 megapixel resolution as the iPhone 5s. At least the larger iPhone 6 Plus offers optical image stabilization. In fact, as the phones got thinner, Apple wasn't able to reduce the size of the lens, and that's why it protrudes a bit on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Add Power to your iPhone for Just $10

image

Act fast, because until May 16th at 11:59pm (ET) only, PowerSkin is offering their PoP'n for just $10 shipped. Technically, it's a penny with $9.99 shipping, but however you slice it, it's a good deal, since it normally lists for $49.99 plus shipping. The PowerSkin PoP'n latches on to the Lightning port (or microUSB if that's what you order) of your iPhone and sticks to the back of the phone or case. Not all cases will work with it, as you need some clearance around the lightning port, but you could always remove your case if needed. Their website lists the iPhone 5/5s/5c, but it should work with an iPhone 6.

Catalyst's Waterproof iPhone Case, Now Offering Superior Protection for the iPhone 6 Plus

image

The makers of my favorite waterproof iPhone case have finally come out with the Catalyst for the iPhone 6 Plus, and I continue to be tremendously impressed. They've taken a design that was already exceptional and tweaked it with subtle refinements producing an end product that happens to be what I would consider, the best waterproof case on the market. Not that there aren't other great waterproof cases available for the iPhone 6/6 Plus series, there certainly are. That's why it's even more of an accolade for me to state that the Catalyst case is perhaps the best of an increasingly crowded and competent waterproof case market.

More Colors, Memory, and Megapixels For Next iPhone?

image
A new iPhone isn't likely to show up until September and given Apple's track record, it is likely to be a minor tweak of the existing design with an "s" suffix. Applelnsider is reporting that the next iPhone, the iPhone 6s (and 6s Plus) will be available in Rose Gold to match the high-end Apple Watch Edition models. Its doubtful that the phones case would actually be made of real gold, given the size and short lifespan of phones and the "bendability" of gold and the "Bendgate" controversy. The more interesting aspects of the rumor, to me, are a better camera, which is long overdue, and more memory.

Review: ScreenGuardz Pure and Crown Screen Protection System from BodyGuardz

image

As a longtime fan of glass screen protectors, I was worried when I saw the curved edges of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Fortunately, the minds over at Bodyguardz have come up with a solution: the ScreenGuardz Pure and Crown ($39.95-$44.95).

Review: Seidio Obex Waterproof Case for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

image

The one thing that never changes about the iPhone is its need for protection. It's difficult to have a device that looks better with each iteration and to want to show it off, but also worry about the damage it may take from everyday use. Seidio aims to alleviate some of that stress with their everything-proof Obex case ($79.95), but is it worth the price?

Everything iPhone - Apps, Accessories, Reviews, Wallpapers etc | iPhone Life Magazine

The iPhone has become a benchmark for all other smartphones to compete with.  Reviews on the cases, accessories, apps, wallpapers and more are located below.  Here are a couple of Articles that showcase what we have to offer.  For eaxample, iPhone 4S by Alex Cequea (iPhone Life Magazine Editor in Chief).

In that article, Alex says that the iPhone 4S has the exact same physical form factor as the iPhone 4. However, the insides are a whole different story, and Apple tried to make that very clear. The most notable improvements are the 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, the A5 dual-core processor (same as the iPad 2), and an improved battery life (8 hours of 3G talk time, 200 hours of standby). As far as the capabilities, the new Siri Assistant feature was the highlight of the show. The Siri Assistant recognizes natural language and can answer questions such as, "What's the temperature out today?" Combined with the phone's GPS, you can say something like, "Remind me to call my wife when I get to work." The Assistant will not only know who your "wife" is, it'll also know where "work" is and pop up a reminder to "call Marcy" when you get there."

Here's another great article, The Best iPhone 4 Cases. This article goes on to explain that like its iPhone predecessors, cases have become one of the most popular ways to accessorize your cell phone. Most cell phone consumers buy a case bundled with their new phone to protect it from day one. And who can blame them? Mobile devices have become hugely valuable and expensive items; you want to protect them the best way you can. There are literally hundreds of cases on the market. Let's examine the different options available on the market to help you choose the one that's right for you.

What to know how to create your own app?  "The first step in creating an app is to understand what you want to create and how you will measure its success. Make sure the idea is well vetted and there is a solid business case behind it. There are roughly 600 new apps submitted to Apple each day—what is going to differentiate your app from the thousands that are already available and being launched each week? Here are some questions you’ll want to ask when getting your app idea..."
