How do I e-mail a website link?

share websites with safari's buil-in e-mail featureYour iOS device makes it super easy to share great websites you discover with anyone through e-mail. Instead of copying the site link, opening your e-mail program, and pasting the link to send, you can do it all in Safari. Here's how:

  1. Open Safari and go to the website you want to share.
  2. Tap on the small icon box with the arrow coming out of it. On the iPhone/iPod touch, it's in the middle of the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. On the iPad, it's in the menu bar at the top of the screen, to the left of the address window.
  3. Tap on Mail Link to this Page. Your device will open a new e-mail message and automatically fill out the subject line and add the link to the body of the e-mail.
  4. Type in the person's address or press the "+" to bring up your contacts. Select who you want to send the page link to and tap Send.
