Vainglory Leaves Beta and Goes Global with Google

I've been playing Super Evil Megacorp's Vainglory since the day it was released, and what a phenomenal game it is. I've been impressed by this highly competitive and rewarding game of strategy, reflexes, and well-coordinated teamwork. If you are a core gamer, you owe it to yourself to check out this groundbreaking iOS game. Sure, other developers have tried to bring the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena genre to iOS, but none with anywhere near the success, critical acclaim, and high levels of professional competition that Vainglory has seen. As Vainglory prepares to "come out of Beta" and officially launch on Google's Android operating system on July 2, it seems as though the ride has only just begun for this game.

According to Super Evil Megacorp's CEO and co-founder Bo Daly, "Vainglory is not a ‘mobile game’ and Super Evil Megacorp is not a ‘mobile games studio.’ We make core games for core gamers and believe touchscreens are the future primary core gaming devices."

As far as the developers are concerned, Vainglory has essentially been in an unofficial beta since its release in late 2014. According to Daly, “If we were a PC title, July 2 would be the day we would come out of beta". Now, less than a year later and after enjoying tremendous success as an Apple-exclusive title, Vainglory is set to go truly global as it becomes available Android devices. Considering how prevalent Android devices are, this is major news. I expect to see this game that's already doing well, become a major player on the international gaming scene.

Critically Acclaimed MOBA Vainglory Leaves Beta, Goes Global with Google.

The new update also features a new fierce-looking, in-your-face, melee heroine, Rona the Beserker, as well as the inclusion of both Casual and Ranked games. This has been one of the most highly requested features for the game, and it's one already offered by other popular MOBA. It allows players to choose whether they want to play for practice and experience versus entering the much more competitive arena where rank brings both prestige and progressively more and more challenging gameplay.

Here's a short video created by Vainglory's core gaming community. It offers a glimpse at the passionate gamers who continue to flock to this intense action game.
