This Pineapple-Shaped Power Bank Adds a Touch of Whimsy to Portable iPhone Charging

At the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, I saw numerous portable power banks. At some point, they all look the same; and without any distinguishing features, it's hard to find one that's noteworthy. Then I saw the Piña-Pineapple Power Bank ($19.99–24.99) from Buqu.

Like all of Buqu's products, the Pineapple Power Bank sports an adorable design with touch-friendly materials and comes in assorted colors. You will want to show it off, which makes the attached caribiner so welcome. I could see this being clipped to a purse strap as a fashion accessory that happens to also serve a function.

The battery pack houses a 2,500 mAh battery, which is about enough to charge an iPhone once. Keep in mind that it does not include a Lightning cable and you may have a hard time choosing one given the different colors and other designs.

  • Adorable design
  • Quality caribiner
  • 2,500 mAh of battery life
  • Assorted color combinations

  • Lightning cable not included
  • Hard to choose!

Final Verdict

If you need to carry around a battery pack, why not carry one in style, like the Piña-Pineapple Power Bank from Buqu.
