Review: Beautiful Forza Earbuds from V-MODA Offer Lots of Options

I prefer the iPhone SE because of the size, but I am also reluctant to give up my headphone jack. One of the reasons is the availability of great headphones and earbuds like the Forza and Forza Metallo ($100, $130) from V-MODA. These are beautifully designed wired in-ear headphones. This should not come as a surprise, as they are designed in Milan, Italy. I'm a fan of Italian design, and have owned a Ferrari and a Fiat and I currently have an Alfa Romeo and Piaggio (makers of Vespa) so of course I liked these very much. Even the case is well designed.

There are assorted silicone pieces (dubbed "Sportfins" and "Ear Hooks") to get the perfect fit in your ear. The earbuds are also available in a metallic finish for $30 more. You can even order optional 3D-printed caps that attach to the outside of the earbuds, using what they call a "Remix Ring." This is a clever custom touch. The inline microphone features three buttons with various controls, but you need to order either the iPhone or Android version for full compatibility.
