Review: An Affordable Protective iPhone 6 Case without the Bulk

An Affordable Protective iPhone 6 Case without the Bulk

I recently wrote about case makers building cases for phones that haven't been announced yet. There's a real danger as the leaked measurements might not be as exact as they should be. The result is many case makers make openings bigger than necessary, which means the cases offer less than ideal protection. This is why I like the SP-06 ($29.99), a protective iPhone 6 case from ActionProof. This case has precision openings that fit the camera, flash, speaker, microphone, and headphone jack, all with very tight tolerances.

I also like the comfortable, soft but protective material and flat, squared edges that are similar to iPhone 5. The unusually named SP-06 lists for about $30 but it is even more affordable at Amazon, where it sells for about $14.

  • Soft but protective material
  • Squared edges similar to iPhone 5
  • Well-designed cutouts for camera, flash, and ports
  • Very affordable at Amazon

  • Only available in black
  • Odd naming convention

Final Verdict

If you are looking for a protective iPhone case, the SP-06 from ActionProof should be high on your list.
