Facebook App Gets 3D Touch Features

Although the Facebook-owned Instagram app has been ready for 3D Touch since Apple demonstrated the new features at its September Event, the Facebook app only made the transition today with a newly released update. Now, owners of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus can use the 3D Touch Quick Actions feature by firmly pressing the Facebook app icon to bring up a menu with the options Write Post, Upload Photo/Video, or Take Photo/Video.

You can’t upload Live Photos yet; however, Apple says Facebook will support them by year-end. In the meantime, Facebook has incorporated the ability to post seven-second profile videos instead of a profile photo.
