Easily Unsubscribe from Newsletters with Unroll.Me App

I love newsletters—they’re often the best way to keep up with a website or organization that I enjoy. But it’s also really easy to sign up for way too many and end up with an inbox overrun by subscriptions. And it’s a major pain in the ass to unsubscribe from each individual newsletter. Luckily, you don’t have to. Unroll.Me makes unsubscribing from newsletters super easy, and the app also makes it easy to keep up with the newsletters you do love and want to read. If your inbox feels overrun with emails you don’t read, you need this app. We’ll go over more on what this app does and why we love it below.

Unroll.Me (Free)

What It Does

In short, Unroll.Me makes it easy to unsubscribe from email subscriptions you don’t want and “roll up” the ones you do into a daily digest. The app supports Gmail, Google Apps, Yahoo! Mail, AOL, iCloud, and Outlook accounts. You can switch between multiple email accounts within the app and organize them all easily.

Like many apps of a similar nature, you’ll swipe on an email to decide its fate. Swipe left to unsubscribe from that email subscription and you will no longer receive emails from that person or company in your Inbox. Swipe right to keep the email in your inbox, or swipe up to roll the email into a daily digest the app calls a Rollup. All emails from that person or company will be included in your daily digest from then on, and you can have that daily digest sent to you in the morning, afternoon, or evening

Why We Love It

Getting rid of the newsletters you don’t want makes it much more enjoyable to find and read the newsletters you do love. I know when my inbox gets out of hand, I ignore the bulk of my emails until I have the energy to go through all of them. But with Unroll.Me, I was able to unsubscribe from 64 newsletters in about ten minutes, while keeping the 24 newsletters I enjoy.

Personally, I don’t use the Rollup daily digest feature as I generally prefer the look of my Mail app inbox; however, for anyone who reads their email on a schedule or wants to stay up-to-date each day, it’s a great feature for consolidating all of your newsletter interests in one place.

Overall, your inbox should be a place where you can gain the information you want and respond to the messages you need. It doesn’t have to be overrun with emails you’re never going to read. Spend about twenty minutes organizing and unsubscribing with Unroll.Me so you can love your inbox and actually read the emails you care about. The app is completely free, so you can organize your inbox however you need to, easily.
