Companions Review - Methinks a quest worthy of iPad!

image

Ok, I promise not to use further Old English phrases in this review (though I am tempted). Adventure and dungeon games are definitely a game type well suited to the iPad--a large mapped area that requires a lot of scrolling, panning or zooming can be hard to enjoy on a small screen. There is also the benefit of control placement around the iPad's larger display. Companions makes good use of the iPad to give complete command over any melee situation, has a detailed storyline, and plenty of challenges to keep oneself immersed for hours!

What I am playing this week - Bathtime Boogie and Companions!

Working up reviews on these 2 apps, but wanted to get out some news since it has taken me most of the week to review Companions, and still working... The game is an engaging iPad dungeon crawler that seems to eat your time up at a horrific rate. Bathtime Boogie is a goofy kind of vertical shooter for iPhone and iPod touch that has a ton of charm (and quite kid safe). You can grab either on the App store at the links posted above...
