More Power to You with PowerSkins

There is nothing worse than running out of battery in the middle of the day and not being able to wait around for a recharge. This is particularly true for IOS devices with non-removable/replaceable batteries. Fortunately, there is an easy solution: the PowerSkin.

Power skin is a one piece, tough, silicon case that fits over your phone like a glove for shock proof protection. The crowning glory is that it contains a rechargeable 1500 mAh backup battery. With the touch of a button, it will start recharging your device and save the day. So, Charge ON!

To fuel this backup reservoir, simply connect the USB cable that comes with it to a power source. It will allow you to sync with your computer at the same time if you wish. There are blue indicator lights built-in that show charging status and battery level.

I should also mention that the case is also NFC enabled for quick information exchange and sharing convenience. Unfortunately, this is not the case with IOS products because they do not have that capability.

The concise, well illustrated user manual is pretty cool. It has QR codes that you scan that take you to YouTube videos that illustrate installation, Uninstall, Turn on PowerSkin, Charge Power Skin, and Check Battery Level.

Note that the blue led lights are on the bottom of the case for iPhones and on the back for Android and Windows models.

The suggested retail price is $79.99 for Windows and Android cases and a closeout price of $49 for IOS models. PowerSkins are only available for the iPhone 4/4s at this time. Presumably they will soon be available for iPhone 5.

However, I found that you can get them for far less in a wide range of prices here:

I even saw one for Galaxy S3 on eBay for less than half price:
