Return to Mysterious Island is a point-and-click adventure game. It’s not as sophisticated as some of the alternatives (particularly because it lacks ambient sounds, unlike, say, Myst), but the ingame graphics looks very nice. Definitely worth the $1. Review & comments HERE.

Mecho Wars is a very good turn-based strategy (review & comments HERE). It only lacks multiplayer, which is the strongest point of its main alternative, UniWar, of which, some time, I may publish a Strategy Guide of. Assuming it’s at all updated – the developers have been pretty much quiet in the last few months… Until I publish it, you’re welcome to read my quick tutorial to one of the missions HERE.

Radio Flare is a shooter. It does lack in some areas and considered by some to be inferior to the best (e.g., Platypus) of the genre. For $1 only, however, it might be worth a try. (Review & comments HERE)

Finally, you might want to check out TouchArcade’s review of Sentinel 2: Earth Defense, of which I’ve published a Strategy Guide HERE.
