Verizon iPhone for sale beginning today for current customers

The Verizon iPhone went on sale today to current customers, and will be available to everyone else on February 10. According to Apple Insider, Verizon is expecting heavy demand and asked its employees to hold off on getting one to make sure there would be enough for customers. Since the phone is basically the same as AT&T's iPhone 4, the early reviews mostly focus one thing: no dropped calls. Apple Insider summarizes some of the early reviews, and also notes that while the service is better, the data speed is slower than that of AT&T. The Associated Press review offers a good overview of the phone and Verizon's service, including the Personal Hotspot feature.
