Report: iPhone 5 pre-ordering to begin Sept. 12; available Sept. 21, internationally Oct. 5

iMore is out ahead again. After being the first to report that the new iPhone would be announced September 12, iMore is saying that pre-orders for the new phone will be available starting that day. As before, they say that the phone will be shipping and available in stores on September 21. And today they also break the news that the international launch will be the first week of October -- likely October 5. Of course, nothing is known for sure, and one can't be sure of anything until Apple actually makes an announcement. But iMore says that their source has been reliable in the past.

They also summarize some of the other hot tidbits that they've heard: that Apple will be announcing an iPad mini, a new version of the iPad with retina display, a new iPod touch, and a new iPod nano. But they say that so far no one is whispering in their ear regarding a launch date for those products.
