Leaked Photo of Front Glass Panel of Forthcoming iPad

Many rumors have said the forthcoming fifth-generation iPad will have a form factor similar to the iPad mini, including narrower bezels on the left and right, such that the device can be smaller without sacrificing screen size. Think of it as an oversized iPad mini. Alleged photos of the front glass panel of the new iPad appeared on the French blog Nowhereelse.fr, bolstering the rumors. You can read more on AppleInsider.

When might this new iPad appear? Rumors vary, with one saying it could be announced as early as this month. Others say we'll see it in July or August. Apple had been in a March/April cycle for new iPads, but disrupted that pattern last fall when it released the fourth-generation iPad just six months after releasing the iPad with Retina display.

We're now in the stage where we'll probably be seeing more leaked photos of iPad 5 and iPhone 5S parts as the launch date approaches.

Another rumor making the rounds via a Japanese blog says the iPhone 5S will appear in July — in three colors. However, the report on Mac Otakara doesn't specify which colors.
