App Store corrupted recently uploaded apps, causing them to crash

If you've recently updated apps on your device and find that they keep crashing, don't blame the developers. Somehow Apple's system was corrupting apps, and it was causing apps that developers had uploaded recently to crash. Apple quickly fixed the problem. But if you've downloaded an affected app (at least 100 were affected), you need to remove it and download it again. You can read more on Macworld. Some very well known apps, such as Instapaper, were involved. And of course the result was a ton of negative one-star reviews. Apple subsequently removed those reviews, since the problem was with Apple itself and not the developers.
