1. Foliage Leaf Peepr (free)
Said to report the best and brightest colors in the United States. Users can post photos and rate foliage status for their location. Current foliage is rated as Green, Turning, Moderate, Peak, Fading, or Gone.

2. Tree ID with Fall Foliage (free)
An app designed to help users identify almost any tree in North America. The newest feature offers 50 Fall Foliage trees with autumn colors.
3. Fall Colors ($0.99)
This app features a collection of 50 dynamic photographs depicting the beautiful seasonal colors. If you choose, this app lets you enjoy fall colors without leaving home.
4. MO Fall Colors (free)
takes advantage of the GPS feature in your iDevice to help you navigate to Missouri's best fall colors. The app also lets you share your finds with Facebook friends and others.
5. New Hampshire Foliage Tracker (free)
Is another state-specific app that helps residents and visitors stay up to date on where to view the best fall foliage in New Hampshire. The app features weekly foliage reports, where to lodge and dine, and photo galleries.
