My Favorite iPhone Cases for Every Situation

I understand that others might not change their iPhone cases daily like I do, but I think we can all agree that there are times when you need something different then your "everyday" case. Here are the cases that I'm using right now—for every situation.

For a Night Out:

Laundry line from Cellairis ($40)

The Laundry Line designed by Shelli Segal and sold by Cellairis features beautiful and chic cases that they describe as “pretty and polished.” A wide variety of patterns are offered, eliminating the blah and boring looks and colors of other cases. Both the basic case (more of a patterned shell of protection) and the diary cover (allows you to turn your phone with its case into more of a clutch) deliver their goals of unique and chic style and basic protection.

Cellairis Laundry Line

Pros:

  • Beautiful cases with plenty of design options.

Cons:

  • The non-diary cases (the ones that don't close) aren't so protective.

iPhone Life Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

For the Weekend:

Urban Armor Gear (UAG) ($34.95-39.95)

Urban Armor cases are lightweight and military drop tested. They provide ultimate protection from drops and bumps with their integrated shock absorbing bumpers. Perfect for those who work in hazardous environments or are prone to dropping their phones, or for people like me who want something a little more protective on the weekend. UAG cases come with a one-year warranty and their website offers free shipping. I love their Scout Folio case, which allows me to disconnect from my social media life on the weekends by closing the cover on my phone and ignoring all of my notifications.

Urban Armor Gear

Pros:

  • Very protective
  • Not bulky at all
  • Easy to slide in and out of your pocket or purse

Cons:

  • Folio case card and ID holder isn't quite as sturdy as I'd like

iPhone Life Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

For a Day Trip:

TYLT Sliding Charging Case ($99)

The TYLT sliding charging case is exactly what its name describes. Available in black, the case has a sleek design and comes in two partsa protective case and a charging case that your phone can slide into. The TYLT sliding charging case charges your phone and doubles your phone's battery life with a 3,200 mAh lithium ion battery. The sleek design of the case allows for a one swoop action to apply the battery portion of the case to the phone. An added bonus of the TYLT case is that when it's plugged in, your phone is charged first and then the case is charged, saving your battery unnecessary wear and tear.

TYLT Charging Case

Pros:

  • Inner case is protective and slim fitting
  • Even with both inner case and charging case, the phone is not as heavy as I'd expect
  • SO easy to use

Cons:

  • I'd love to see a larger battery in the next version!

For Game Day:

iPhone 6 InkFusion Pro Case from SkinIt (Starting at $34.99)

I love finding fun one-of-a-kind cases for my iPhone. SkinIt always has up-to-date designs with the latest characters, teams, and artwork. If they don't have what you're looking for, you can custom design their InkFusion cases. My personal favorite is the InkFusion Pro case because it has a soft and protective silicone insert inside of a tough outer shell. My University of Arizona case is one of the more protective cases I own, but it's not bulky at all.

SkinIt custom cases

Pros:

  • Protective inner and outer shell
  • Limitless customization is available

Cons:

  • None
