Favorite iPhone 6 Battery Cases

OtterBox Resurgence Power Case ($99.95)

Military-grade protection, a 2,600 mAh battery, and an auto-stop charge are some of the key features of this case. The auto-stop charge means that the case will stop charging your battery when it reaches 100 percent, saving the battery power for later when you need it. Available in black, glacier, cardinal, and mint ice.

OtterBox Resurgence Charging Case

Pros:

  • Beveled edge on the front of the case to protect against face down drops
  • Military-tough OtterBox protection
  • A simple switch to access the silent slider on the side of the iPhone 6 makes it easy to turn your volume off and on
  • Includes a grip on the top/back of the case for removal

Cons:

  • Charges phone to about 90 percent; I'd love to see a more powerful battery
  • A tad bit tough to remove from the phone. Though, that could be seen as a pro!

iPhone Life Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

TYLT Sliding Charging Case ($99.99)

The TYLT sliding case charges your phone with a super sleek design and comes in two parts–the protective covering for the phone and the attachable charging case. The 3,200 mAh battery makes it one of the most powerful charging case I've seen for the iPhone 6. All charging cases are a little heavy—I love that when you're done charging your phone, the outer charging case slides right off, leaving a protective shell behind. Available in black.

TYLT Sliding Charging Case

Pros:

  • Both the iPhone case and the charging sleeve are made of a dual layer material, making it durable
  • Ditch the heavier charging sleeve when you're done charging

Cons:

  • I'd love to see some other color combinations available

iPhone Life Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.

iBattz Refuel InVictus battery case ($99.95)

The iBattz Refuel InVictus case offers a their battery case with a standard battery module (3,200 mAh battery is included) that allows you to purchase and carry multiple batteries at once so that you’re never running low. Extra 3,200 mAh batteries are sold for $19.95. Available in space gray, gold, and black.

iBattz InVIctus Charging Case

Pros:

  • Carrying an extra battery module is definitely more beneficial than carrying an extra charging case (which I've done in the past!)
  • Slim design doesn't look bulky, like some charging cases can

Cons:

  • No screen protection on the case
  • About 1.5 oz. heavier than the other charging cases

iPhone Life Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

PowerSkin Rechargable Power Case ($79.99)

This 2,200 mAh battery charging case is perfect for those of us who love to show off our choice of colors for our iPhone. The gold case looks beautiful next to my gold phone, and the case is easy to take off and put on. Available in space gray, gold, and silver.

PowerSkin Charging Case

Pros:

  • Available in colors that match your iPhone
  • Easy to read LED lights on back tell you how much power is left
  • NFC/Apple pay capable

Cons:

  • The case itself isn't very protective, so your screen is exposed during a drop. It also scratches easily.

  • Though it weighs only 3 ounces, it feels bottom heavy, so it takes a bit to get used to balancing it in one hand and typing

iPhone Life Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
