This is one of the best sports stories I've ever experienced but it's about more than just sports. It's a story about America and it's people. It's also a story about human values. It's as relevant today as it was in 1936.

American Experience is a great source for history. You can watch it for entertainment or as a serious student. Either way you will find quality programming and truth. Other stories currently available include: Clinton, The Panama Canal, Grand Coulee Dam, Hoover Dam, and The Crash of 1929.
