Ski Jump without the cold or danger!

About 35 years ago, I visited Lake Placid, where the Winter Olympics had just been held. I had the opportunity to climb up to the top of a ski jump platform, and look down. Right then and there, I knew I would never, ever become a ski jumper.

Well, thanks to Ski Jumping Pro from the makes of Real Boxing, you can experience a virtual ski jump without any of the danger, or cold weather! As with Real Boxing, the graphics are impressive.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward. Just tap anywhere on the screen to start, jump, and land. You can also slide left or right to compensate for wind direction. A wide variety of locales keeps it interesting.

In honor of Macworld, Ski Jumping Pro is on sale for $0.99 so now is a great time to pick it up.

One pet peeve is the announcer will often praise your jump even when it was lousy, landing you in 50th place! But that should be an easy fix.

Vivid Games has done it again, adding another potentially violent sport to their portfolio, allowing us to experience these activities without danger!
