It's important to turn off Activation Lock when you give away or sell your iPhone, iPod, or other Apple device so that the person who now owns your device can use it. Activation Lock turns on automatically when Find My is activated, so you may not even realize it's enabled, which is why many users don't realize until it's too late that they haven't disabled the lock. Don't worry: even if you have already given away or sold the device, it is still possible to turn off Activation Lock remotely. We'll show you how.

iPhone Case Review: Hitcase Offers Photo Lenses & Leather Luxury
By Todd Bernhard
I love the juxtaposition of the latest technology with traditional luxurious materials. That's why I'm drawn to leather smartphone cases. But the folks at Hitcase sent me the Ferra iPhone Case ($59.99) and it goes the extra mile. In addition to leather (black or light brown) the case also has stainless steel accents, for the volume buttons, logo, and surrounding the camera lenses. That last part is important, because Hitcase adds its own bit of technology to each case.
How to Find an iPhone or iPad Lost in the House Using Siri, iCloud, or the Find My App
By Conner Carey
"Oh, great, where is my iPhone?" If you have a lost iPhone or iPad, the Find My app (formerly the Find My iPhone app) will help you locate your phone whether you lost your iPhone or iPad at a friend’s house or at the bar (I did this once. Luckily I was able to find my iPad when I returned.) But what if I need to find my phone in my house and just can’t seem to find my device anywhere? I have used iCloud to find my phone from icloud.com or from a family member’s iPhone or iPad, if they are on the same Family Sharing plan as me. You can also ping your missing iPhone from iCloud, use the Find My app to ping your iPhone or iPad, use your HomePod to ping your iPhone, and even use Siri to find your missing phone, or the iPhone or iPad of anyone who shares their location with you. Whichever method you choose, here’s how to find a lost iPhone in the house.
