Didactic Apps

Didactic Apps was born when two entrepreneurs with experience in IT projects joined a pedagogue and the mother of an autistic child, with the idea of creating educational mobile applications in a different way. This meeting made us see that mobile applications can be very useful to help children with learning difficulties, sspecially children with autistic disorder, asperger or attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The attraction that new technologies (tablets, phones...) exert on children can be harnessed to benefit their educational development.

Didactic Apps presents 'Alex learns how to dress'

Alex learns how to dress has been designed by a team of pedagogues, psychologists and parents. The main objective of this app is to help kids to get dressed by themselves or to improve their dressing skills.

The app includes animations that show step by step the dressing process as well as audio (in 5 languages) explaining each sequence. Kids must dress Alex with the right clothes for each circumstance (winter, summer, rainy day, …) by dragging and dropping to the right body part and in the correct order.

The final objective of this app, helping children to get dress by themselves, is especially important for kids with learning difficulties such as autism spectrum disorders or attention deficit disorder / attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
