The CrystalCore TiltDock could have been invented by Apple, but it wasn't

image

The CrystalCore TiltDock is the dock Apple should have invented, but it fell to Apple Core Gear to create. But they need your help! It's an IndieGogo crowdsourced project and at just $25 (plus shipping) for the first 100 backers, it's a bargain. Considering it will retail for close to $100, you should really take advantage of this offering.

Customize your iPhone, with metallic prints from Chromaluxe

image
I'm a fan of aluminum photos. I have a nice family portrait printed direct on aluminum and it gets great feedback. Such prints resist fading, water damage, tears, etc., so I was excited to see the Chromaluxe cases for the iPhone 5 and 4/4S.

LifeProof that new iPad

image
A lot of you are going to find a new iPad under the tree tomorrow, and before you put it through its paces, you might want to encase that expensive gadget in a safe case.

The nüüd case from LifeProof offers something no other rugged case does. Of course it's rugged, but it is also waterproof... So far, so good. But LifeProof does something no other case maker has tried. The achieve waterproof protection yet leave the glass screen exposed! The dock and the audio jack are sealed and protected, of course.

Be prepared for the North Pole or anywhere this season with an Eton radio

image
I hope Santa is prepared for snowstorms as he travels the globe tonight. One way might be to bring along an Eton Hand Turbine AM/FM/Weather Alert Radio. I got to try one and it's just the ticket for snowstorms, picnics, or blackouts. The model I used has these features: AM, FM, WB digital radio w/display, Weather alert, USB smart phone charger (dump charge), Solar panel, Dynamo motor/Hand turbine, LED flashlight, Glow-in-the-dark locator, DC input (mini USB), AUX input, Headphone output, and Internal rechargeable Ni-MH battery.

Hop on the BulletTrain for a streamlined keyboard and trackpad combo

image

Many iOS users are also Mac users, like myself, so if you have a Mac, and an Apple wireless keyboard, and an Apple Magic Trackpad, pay attention! I have all of the above, but I found that I didn't use the trackpad that much. Rather than slide my hand off to the right, past my Magic Mouse, to the trackpad, and lose time, and risking Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I prefer the design of Apple's laptops, with the trackpad just below the spacebar.

Real Boxing for real fans of boxing

image

I am constantly amazed by the advancements in graphics and gaming in the iOS world, and Real Boxing is the latest example. From the colorized red, black, and white cinematic 'cut scenes' reminiscent of Frank Miller's Sin City, to the photorealistic gameplay, the experience is breathtaking.

Panorama Car Kit lets you travel Route 66, or anywhere, with the best view ever

The folks at Route 66 have developed a very cool combination phone mount and companion app that could revolutionize how you drive. So how does such a lofty goal become reality? Let's review:

Bring some Joy to your World, with cases from The Joy Factory

image

This is one for the ladies. Or for those of you with a special lady in your life. As long as she has an iPhone!

The Joy Factory makes some great accessories, so I was excited to see why they would come up with for the iPhone 5. Just like with restrooms, the ladies always get the better end of the deal. While men get a step above an outhouse, from what I've heard, ladies rooms have couches, perfume, etc. Ladies get some neat options for cellphone cases as well.

Mikey makes for a better microphone on your iOS device

image

The iPhone and iPad do a lot of things well, but if you agree that the built-in microphone could use some improvement, you should check out the Mikey Digital add-on from Blue Microphones.

Blue is known for the very high quality microphones for Mac and other uses, so it's nice to see them bring their expertise to the iOS world.

AudiOffice will enhance your calls, and your conference room

image
When I first saw the product name, AudiOffice, I was expecting a mobile office for an Audi automobile! But don't let the name fool you. AudiOffice is an elegant, well-built, well-designed Bluetooth speakerphone system for your office.
